__History, Theory and Languages of Design Research Group
The History, Theory and Languages of Design research group is linked to USP (University of São Paulo) Postgraduate Program in Design at , and based at LabVisual - the Visual Design Research Lab at FAU USP. It brings together researchers from the Departments of Design (AUP) and the of Design History and Aesthetics (AUH) of the institution, and collaborators from other universities in Brazil and abroad, with the aim of developing investigations into historical, theoretical and communicative aspects of design. It is a hub of the Brazilian Graphic Memory research network. Among the group's main research results is the development of the website 'Tipografia Paulistana' (Paulista Typography).
